Summertime at SWC

Dear friend,

I hope you’re staying cool–but if you like the heat, I’ve got a treat for you! For those among you who won’t let a little weather stop you from contributing to sustainable culture, we’re hosting a volunteer event tomorrow at our McKibbin St site from 10am to 12pm. Join us for bottle and can sorting, and to fortify our local trees with some rich soil in their planters!

We’re also cooking up more fun events before the summer is over, including tours and mixers where you can get to know the organization and the people who give it life a little better. We’re hosting another rock show in September! We’ll be striving to offer as much fun stuff as possible, not to mention opportunities to get involved in advocacy as the legislative season heats up once more. Whatever your entry point to the world of sustainability, we’ll have something for you to enjoy–we look forward to seeing you at Sure We Can!

Espero que te quede bien frío–pero si te gusta el calor, ¡tengo un placer para ti! Para los de Uds. que no van a dejar a la clima que pararte de contribuir a la cultura sostenible, presentamos un evento de voluntad mañana en nuestro sitio en la calle McKibbin desde las 10 de la mañana hasta las 12. ¡Únete con nosotros en clasificar botellas y latas, y fortalecer a nuestros árboles locales con alguna tierra rica!

También estamos cocinando más eventos divertidos antes que se acabe el verano, incluye a recorrer y fiestas en que puede conocer a la organización y los que la dan vida poco mejor. ¡Estamos presentando otro concierto de rock en Septiembre! Tratamos de ofrecer las cosas más divertidas posibles, también con oportunidades de involucrarse en abogacía como la sesión legislativa empieza otra vez. No importa su punto de entrar en el mundo de la sostenibilidad, tenemos una cosa que puedes disfrutar–¡esperamos verte en Sure We Can!
