Riven Closes This Week!

Dear friend,

I hope this finds you well, and if you’re in NYC or any of the other parts of the US suffering from intense heat–stay cool and stay safe!

I’m just sending a quick note to remind you that there are two more performances of Riven, the unique theatrical experience conceived and directed by Marina Zurita and drawn from interviews with real waste pickers in Brazil and NYC! The show closes on Friday, but there are still tickets available. I saw it on opening night and I’ll be back this week–the show is emotionally complex and visually exciting and I’m eager to see it again. I’ll be at both the Thursday and Friday performances, so if you’re in the city, come through and say hi, and check out this meaningful and transformative artwork!

Solo estoy enviando este correo rápido para avisarte que todavía hay dos presentaciones más del Riven, la única obra de teatro que ha imaginado y dirigido Marina Zurita, y ¡hecho por entrevistas con recicladores reales en Brasil y NYC! La obra cierra el viernes, pero todavía hay boletos disponibles. Yo la ví la noche de apertura pero vuelvo esta semana–la obra tiene complejidad emocional y es visualmente emocionante, y estoy emocionado de verla otra vez. Voy a estar en las presentaciones de jueves y viernes, entonces si estás en la ciudad, te llegas y decir una hola, y ¡también ver esta obra de arte significante y transformativa!
